Ms. Sanukta Priyadarshini Barick is a highly experienced humanitarian and development professional from India, who has made significant contributions to the field of humanitarian work. She is currently serving as the Treasurer of the AJSA) In addition, she is leading the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) programs in the Indian Red Cross Society, focusing on humanitarian emergencies and disaster response.

Barick’s career in the development sector spans over one decade, during which she has worked with several national and international organizations. Her expertise includes finance, governance, transparency and accountability, first aid, and disaster risk reduction. She has been involved in various humanitarian emergencies in India, including the 2008 mega floods, the 2013 cyclone phailin, and the 2019 cyclone FANI, among others.

In addition to her humanitarian work, Barick is also an expert in Right to Information (RTI), having trained several NGOs and government officials on the use of RTI to promote transparency and accountability.
