Education for All Campaign

TOGETHER WE CAN HELP TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF ILLITERACY AND POVERTY AND MAKE SURE ALL GIRLS AND ALL CHILDREN HAVE THE RIGHT TO AN EDUCATION.

AJSA’s Education for All was the first awareness and sensitization program started in Odisha. In collaboration with the government, AJSA supported the “Sampurna Saksharta Gram Swaraj Abhiyan ” – Padhi Padhaiba Program, and reached out to the remotest locations spreading awareness and enrolling men, women and children in night schools. We have also worked on mass campaigning awareness of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and in cooperation with several government departments and public authorities researched and designed vocational programs to make education a major part for overall development of communities.

Key Achievements

  • 21 night schools are ongoing by volunteers of AJSA, where elder women, men and children are getting a basic education in Bolangir and Kalahandi districts of Odisha.
  • AJSA has also opened a library named Mobile library For Rural People (M.L.R.P), where near about 60,000 books are available on topics such as- Health, Education, Science, History, Culture, Current Affairs and General Knowledge.
