Dr. Patnaik’s academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Geo-Informatics from the University of Madras, culminating in a comprehensive study focused on cyclonic storm surges within the vulnerable coastal region of Odisha. This academic rigor laid the groundwork for his subsequent career achievements.

Throughout his career, Dr. Patnaik has held pivotal roles within renowned organizations such as Christian Aid, RedR India, Oxfam America and the Asian Development Bank. His contributions encompass a wide spectrum of responsibilities, including the strategic inception of large-scale programs, the adept assembly and leadership of teams, and the cultivation of strategic thinking to navigate complex operational landscapes.

Notably, Dr. Patnaik is a luminary in the realm of resilience programming.
