Chinmay Sunani is a dedicated development professional with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Delhi University. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Banaras Hindu University. With extensive experience in managing women-led social enterprises, agriculture producer companies, and climate-smart agriculture projects, Chinmay has demonstrated remarkable skills and achievements in the field of sustainable development.

Prior to joining AJSA, Chinmay has worked with esteemed organizations such as PRADAN, Barefoot College, Government of Delhis Change Makers Education Program, 8one Foundation (supported by UNESCO), and the SBI Youth for India Initiative. Through these associations, he has honed his project management abilities, fostered community engagement, and championed causes such as women’s empowerment, education, and cultural heritage preservation.

Chinmay Sunani is not only a competent professional but also a prolific student leader. Recognizing the need to uplift marginalized youth and empower communities, he founded a youth-led movement called Awaaz. This organization is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by marginalized communities and creating opportunities for their socio-economic upliftment. Under Chinmay’s leadership, Awaaz has been successful in amplifying the voices of the marginalized and implementing impactful initiatives.

Through Awaaz, Chinmay has spearheaded various youth-led campaigns, advocating for social justice, access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. The movement has played a crucial role in creating awareness, engaging stakeholders, and influencing policy decisions to bring about positive change in marginalized communities.
With his strong academic background and practical experience, he continues to drive positive change and inspire others to contribute to the empowerment of marginalized communities.
