Ashish Singh

Program Manager- DRR

Ashish Singh is a development/disaster management professional and an alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, where he completed his M.A. in Disaster Management. Working at the grassroot level allowed him to gain a deep understanding of developmental issues, government collaboration, community engagement and decentralized governance and planning. He was immediately brought into the role of project management, from proposal development to implementation and monitoring.

He has been effectively engaged in the sectors of Rural Development, Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Change Adaptation and Livelihood Security. His experience in the sector has developed his ability to engage with different stakeholders, identify critical issues in development and governance with a participatory approach and address them through research, facilitations and trainings.
